Chapter One
Now the question arises, "If God did include the United States in prophecy, how do we identify her in God's Word?" To accomplish this task we must first understand how the Bible is written. The prophet Isaiah informs us:
When Isaiah asked the question, "Whom shall God teach knowledge, and whom shall God make to understand doctrine. . ." we have the answer through the anointing. God states it is those who are weaned from the milk and drawn from the breasts. Those who are not weaned from the milk or drawn from the breast are still totally dependent on what they have been taught. They never check anything out for themselves, nor do they try to learn on their own. They have the same relationship and dependence on their instructors as a baby does its nursing mother. The apostle Paul addresses this in his letter to the Hebrews:
Those who ought to have matured in the Word still need to be taught the first principles of the Word of God. Many go Sunday after Sunday, Bible study after Bible study to be taught the foundational teachings of the Word, but they still remain unskillful in the Word of life. These have no desire for strong meat. When strong meat is presented to them, they simply state, "I am saved", not really understanding that being saved is not the end of their journey, but the beginning. Those who depend on their first experience in God have no desire to overcome, nor to mature in the things of God. They are content in their religious statis quo. Isaiah declared those who are weaned from milk and drawn from the breasts will put precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little and there a little lining up the Word of God. When this concept is properly applied, then the pieces of this giant jigsaw puzzle come together to make a beautiful picture. By using this principle we can discover who the United States is in the Bible, and what her ultimate destiny is. In order for us to understand what God is revealing, we must know the time frame He is addressing. To do this we must look at the book of Revelation:
The book of Revelation is the revelation of Jesus Christ. Jesus revealed this revelation to His servant John. As Jesus stated this revelation would shortly come to pass. John proclaimed:
The Lord's Day is the Seventh Day, the millennial reign of Christ. God had translated John through time to the Seventh Day to show him the things He would bring upon the earth at that time. Jesus revealed to John the end of the age when there will be time no more. As Jesus revealed this takes place when the seventh angel sounds:
In the Day of the Lord all kingdoms will become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christs. The Lord's Christs are His anointed in the earth. Paul reveals this Christ Company to the church at Corinth:
God revealed the events leading up to the Seventh Day of His creation to John, and what we can expect to come upon the earth. The book of Revelation is not the book of eschatology on the end times. It is the key to unlock all the eschatological teachings in the whole Bible. The master keys found in the book of Revelation open all the Scriptures concerning the teaching of the end times throughout the Scriptures, both in the Old and New Testaments. Therefore to understand the United States' roll in end time prophecies we must start in the book of Revelation:
The Bible reveals itself if we follow the guidelines set forth in Isaiah 28:9-10. Precept must be upon precept, line must be upon line, here a little and there a little. To discover who the Great Whore of Revelation Seventeen is we must look at the first clue: The Great Whore sits upon many waters
Jesus reveals the waters are peoples, multitudes, nations and tongues. The United States is the only nation on the earth known as the "melting pot of the world". This fact is graphically portrayed on the Statue of Liberty which contains the following inscription to all peoples of the earth: "Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame, From her beacon-hand glows world-wide welcome; Cries she, with silent lips. The United States truly has been the Golden Door of opportunity to all the down trodden of the earth. Every nation on the face of the earth is represented in the United States. We have many people who have migrated here, bringing their cultures, and still speaking their own languages. There are sixty different languages taught in our schools. We are truly a nation of multitudes, nations, and tongues, and as the inscription on the statue declares we are the mother of exiles. Jesus gave John other clues as to who this Great whore is:
She was arrayed in purple and scarlet decked with gold This description vividly portrays a very wealthy nation arrayed in royalty. God truly gave the United States a golden cup in her hand. God endowed her with wealth like no other nation on earth. He gave her the rich plains to become an agricultural giant to export food all over the earth. He gave her rich mountains full of gold, silver, and raw materials to become a manufacturing giant. He gave her knowledge no other nation possessed. He also put in the heart of the people to work and accomplish, and to excell in all matters of life. But as Jesus revealed this golden cup is now been filled with abominations unto the Lord. Her golden cup is filled with filthiness. The word filthiness means "unclean in thought and life". This describes the general lifestyle throughout this nation. The United States has filled her golden cup with fornication Sex has become the most talked about subject in the United States. Talk shows are filled with it. The entertainment medium is filled with it. The government is full of whoremongers and sex fiends. People live together outside of marriage. Teenage pregnancy is rampant. Many such pregnancies are terminated by abortion. Sex is taught in our schools, tolerated by the church, and has ruined our homes. God has turned his face from this nation because her golden cup runneth over with filthiness and fornication. Jesus continued His revelation of the Great Whore:
The Great Whore is Mystery Babylon the Great The United States has become an abomination in the sight of God. She has her sin written on her forehead for all to see. The United States is no longer ashamed of her sin. She flaunts her godless ways with no fear of God's judgment or retribution. She has exported her godless ways all over the earth. Her tobacco products, her chemical poisons, her drugs, her music, her movies, and her TV have altered the way of life all over the world. Other clues to the identity of the Great Whore are found in Revelation 17:
The Great Whore is also that Great City If we can identify this great city in God's Word, we would know how the United States is referred to in the Bible. Jesus shows us plainly the great city in Revelation eighteen:
We may ask, "Why is the United States called a city instead of a kingdom. The reason for this is that the United States did not become a great nation by throwing down other nations to acquire territory. We became a great nation because we annexed, purchased, and developed land. When territories wanted to become part of the United States they were annexed the same way cities annex other towns, or surrounding areas to increase the size of their cities. Examples of these annexations are Texas, Alaska, and Hawaii. The United States also purchased vast territories. These purchases included the Louisiana Purchase, the Gladstone Purchase, and the Seward Purchase. The United States also developed land. It only took 75 years from the time the United States declared its independence from England until the `49ers began to settle California. The United States has truly become the Great City. We now know the Great Whore which is called the Great City is the United States of America. The Great City is Mystery Babylon. This same description is found in Revelation 16:
Jesus foretold the United States will be divided into three parts. There are giant fault lines running across this nation. When God's judgment comes these fault lines will open up and this prophecy will come to pass on the Great City, Mystery Babylon. Jesus foretold the fall of the cities of the United States. As we consider the Spiritual condition of our cities, this prophecy is already happening. Our cities have become armed camps of discontents ready to explode. Jesus continued his revelation of the Great City, Babylon, the Great Whore:
True Musicians are heard no more in the United States The voice of harpers, musicians, pipers, and trumpeters will be heard no more in Babylon. Today everywhere we go we are exposed to the confusion of today's satanic music. We are bombarded in restaurants, grocery stores, doctor's offices, and over the telephone. This off beat substitute for true music disrupts the natural functions of the body causing disease, mental illness, and stress. Craftsmen found no more in thee The loss of experienced craftsmen is also evident. This has happened before our very eyes. Quality work is cost prohibitive, and because of this our craftsmen can no longer make a living at their trade. The millstone is heard no more in thee The industrial base of this nation has eroded. Most everything we buy is made outside the United States. Even our manufacturing companies have moved to other nations for cheaper labor. The new international trade deals have further eliminated jobs, allowing foreign products to flood our markets. Jesus continues His revelation of the downfall of this Great City:
The Light of the Candle shall shine no more in thee The light of the candle is our electric lights. The United States will lose its ability to generate electricity. This will come to pass by acts of terrorism, atmospheric disturbances, or simple breakdowns of aging generating processes. The Voice of the Bridegroom and the Bride will not be heard The Bridegroom is Jesus and the bride is the Holy City, New Jerusalem made up of the true body of Christ. These voices are becoming very faint in this nation. The voices heard are not proclaiming the overcoming message brought forth in God's Word. Instead we hear watered down messages of rapture, ultimate reconciliation, and once saved, always saved being brought forth by false religious systems. The true voice of God has been all but extinguished, replaced by sensationalism and false doctrines which tickle the ear. The Great Merchant Men of the Earth came from the United States Jesus declared, "Thy men were the great merchants of the earth. No nation on earth has been as blessed industry wise as the United States. The great merchandising men of the whole earth have come from the United States: Carnegie, Mellon, Rockefeller, Ford, Edison, Firestone, Westinghouse; a list of these great merchandisers would be endless. Our modern society began in the United States. The computer, television, radio, telegraph, electric light, modern agriculture methods, the airplane, the automobile, the steel industry were all inventions of these mighty men. God has blessed the United States with technology, raw material, and a sense of merchandising unequaled anywhere on the earth. Jesus continued, stating: By thy sorceries were all nations deceived The word sorceries is the Greek word PHARMAKEIA. It is where we get our English word pharmacy and means "drugs, witchcraft, deception, and seduction". The United States has become known as the drug store of the earth. Not only have her people become dependent on drugs, legal and otherwise, the United States exports drugs all over the earth. Because of this, God accuses the United States of deceiving all the nations of the world. Jesus continues His proclamation concerning Mystery Babylon:
In her was found the blood of prophets and saints In Babylon is found the blood of all those who killed God's prophets and saints all over the earth. The word blood refers to relatives. What Jesus was showing us was the relatives of all those who have committed these atrocities are resident in the United States. These make up the many waters (the great melting pot of immigrants) the Great Whore sat upon. America, the Feminine Gender Another way we can identify the United States is the constant reference to the Whore, the Great City, and Babylon always being referred to in the feminine gender. Everything God created, He created male and female. This includes nations. The United States is a feminine nation. When you think of any nation, you think of it in the masculine or feminine gender. Germany is called the Fatherland. Germany is masculine. Russia is called the Old She Bear. Russia is feminine. Every mention of the United States is always in the feminine gender. Our song, "America the Beautiful" has a phrase which goes, "Stand beside her and guide her". Again the United States is being described in the feminine gender. Knowing how God refers to the United States, we not only know and understand where she appears in prophesy, but we can also learn of God's judgment. When her judgment comes, God has warned His people what they are to do. As we examine the Scriptures concerning the Great Whore who is referred to as the Great City, Mystery Babylon, we will no longer be in the dark concerning her future. The United States believes God has winked at her sin, but her day of judgment is sure.
Chapter Two The Coming Forth of God's Kingdom Jesus continued His revelation to John concerning Mystery Babylon (the United States of America). When John saw the Great Whore, she was drunken with the blood of the saints and the martyrs. When John saw the woman, he wondered with great admiration, *** Revelation 17:7
Only the mind endowed with God's wisdom and Spiritual understanding we can comprehend what is written here. The beast that carried or supported the Great Whore had seven heads and ten horns. John spoke the seven heads are mountains. Mountains represent kingdoms. The seven heads are the beast kingdoms over which the Great Whore has dominion. Over these seven kingdoms, there are seven kings. At the time of the judgment of the Great Whore, five of these kingdoms will have already fallen. John recorded, ". . . and one IS". We need to discover who the "One Is", then we will know the kingdom who is in power when God judges the Great Whore. After the judgment of the whore, there is yet another kingdom who will raise up. This is the seventh mountain or kingdom. Revelation foretells an eighth kingdom who will come to power at the same time the seventh kingdom is in power.
If we are to know the times in which we live we must identify these eight kingdoms. The Bible is self explanatory. If we are to come to the knowledge of the truth concerning these kingdoms we must turn to the Old Testament. As we do this we must remember the words of Jesus:
Jesus has foretold us everything we need to know in His Word. The prophet Hosea wrote:
God has spoken by His prophets and multiplied dreams and visions. As we search for these visions we discover two visions in the book of Daniel that reveal these eight kingdoms. The first vision was given to Nebuchadnezzar, king of ancient Babylon. Nebuchadnezzar was given a vision of a giant statue. This vision troubled Nebuchadnezzar so much he could not sleep. He called His magicians, astrologers, sorcerers, and Chaldeans to not only interpret the dream, but to also reveal the dream. When his magicians, astrologers, sorcerers, and Chaldeans failed, Nebuchadnezzar ordered all the wise men of the kingdom to be slain. When Daniel heard this, he asked King Nebuchadnezzar for time to reveal not only the interpretation, but also the vision. Daniel went to the house of Hanaiah, Mishael, and Azariah. We know these men as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednigo:
When Daniel gained audience with the king, he revealed to the king his dream and the interpretation:
Through Nebuchadnezzar's vision God would reveal what would be in the latter days. Then Daniel showed the king his vision:
Nebuchadnezzar's dream was about a great metal statue which troubled him very much. By the wisdom and revelation of God, Daniel was able to interpret the dream. Daniel's interpretation reveals the first four kingdoms Jesus spoke of to John on the Isle of Patmos.
The Gold Kingdom The first kingdom was the Gold Kingdom. Daniel proclaimed to Nebuchadnezzar:
Nebuchadnezzar was the head of gold. He was king over ancient Babylon. Babylon was the most ancient kingdom. Its beginning was Babel. Nimrod, the son of Cush, the son of Ham, the son of Noah built Babel, and was constructing the tower of Babel when God confused the languages. From Babel came Babylon, the first great kingdom upon God's renewed earth after the flood.
The Silver Kingdom The next kingdom revealed to Nebuchadnezzar was the breast and arms of silver:
The Silver Kingdom was inferior to the Babylonian Gold Kingdom. The Silver Kingdom is the Medes and Persian Kingdom. To gain understanding concerning this empire we go to the book of Daniel. At the time Daniel was taken captive when Babylon overthrew Judah in 586 B. C., he was given a vision of the overthrow of Babylon by the Medes and Persians:
In Daniel's vision he saw a ram with two horns. These two horns represent the kingdom of the Medes and Persians. One horn was higher than the other, and the higher one came up last. The higher horn was the Persian Empire. On October 13th, 539 B. C. Belshazzar, the King of Babylon, was having a drunken party. He ordered the golden vessels taken from the temple at Jerusalem to be brought so his guests could drink wine from them. This was when part of a hand appeared and wrote on the wall: Mene! Mene! Tekel Upharsin! Daniel was called to interpret the writing: Mene, "God hath numbered thy kingdom and finished it." Tekel, "Thou art weighed in the balances and art found wanting" Upharsin, "Thy kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians", *** Daniel 5:25-28 At that moment Darius the Mede was entering into the city of Babylon. Drying up the Euphrates River, he entered the city under the flood gates, and took it with very limited opposition. Babylon fell, never to rise again.
The Brass Kingdom In Daniel's interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar's vision, he spoke of a third kingdom:
The third kingdom after Babylon, and the Medes and Persians, was the Brass Kingdom. As Daniel stated this kingdom would rule over all the earth. Daniel witnessed this third kingdom coming to power in his vision:
Daniel was given the interpretation of this vision:
The rough he goat was King Philip, king of Greece. He was the beginning of the Brass Kingdom, the Grecian Empire. The rough he goat had a great horn between his eyes. The great horn was King Philip's son, Alexander the Great. Daniel continued his vision:
Alexander came to power when his father Philip was mysteriously assassinated. This was in June of 336 B. C. Alexander immediately continued his war against the Medes and Persian Empire. Alexander was only twenty when he became king. Although his life was short (he died at 33), he conquered the whole known world. He established the Grecian Empire and began the Hellenistic Movement. It is said of Alexander, he hellenized the whole earth. Alexander the Great was one of the greatest military geniuses of all time. Daniel also saw the end of Alexander's reign in his vision:
The great horn was broken when Alexander died. It is said he cried because there were no more worlds to conqueror. Daniel saw after Alexander's death, four notable horns would come up toward the four winds of heaven. Daniel was given the interpretation of this vision:
After Alexander's death four of his generals each took a part of Alexander's kingdom. They attempted to rule the kingdom as one, but greed and power split the Grecian Empire into four kingdoms. This becomes a very important prophecy in the day we live. The four generals who ruled the Grecian Empire were Antigonus, who ruled Macedonia; Seleusus, who ruled Asia; Ptolemy, who ruled Egypt; and Lysimachus, who ruled Thrace. Daniel prophesied of these four kingdoms:
As Daniel proclaimed, this prophecy was for the latter time, or the end of the age. To those who have eyes to see and ears to hear, this is speaking of the great man beast, who will be set up to rule the whole world in the end of the age. This will become clearer as we progress in our explanation of the last four kingdoms.
The Iron Kingdom As we continue to look at the first four kingdoms Jesus spoke of, we come to the fourth kingdom, the Iron Kingdom. Daniel continued to interpret Nebuchadnezzar's vision:
The fourth kingdom was the Iron Kingdom. The Iron Kingdom was mixed with miry clay. The fourth kingdom was the Roman Empire. After the Grecian Empire split into four kingdoms, they became vulnerable to the rise of the Roman Empire. Daniel prophesied the iron would break in pieces and subdue all things. Rome did not fight their wars on one front, they sent their armies in all directions, conquering many nations at the same time. The feet and toes of Nebuchadnezzar's giant statue were part iron and part potters' clay. Daniel proclaimed the Roman Empire would be divided. Rome was the center of the empire. The Roman Empire ruled with an iron fist over the whole known world. It had the strength of iron, but it was mixed with miry clay. Iron represents the strength and authority of Rome. The iron was mingled with the seed of men. Many times rulers of the captured territories married the daughters of the captive rulers. They would then permit the rulers of the captured territories to retain their seat of authority as long as they submitted to Roman rule. This kept the people happy. One example of this was when Anthony, who was sent to rule over Egypt and married Cleopatra the queen of Egypt. The miry clay is the human frailty of any kingdom. [A point of interest: King Philip, the brother of King Herod who took Herodius, King Philip's wife, was the son of Anthony and Cleopatra.] As God's Word declares, "Iron and clay do not mix". There was never unity in the Roman provinces. There were constant uprisings among the captive nations. The Roman Empire ruled with an iron fist over the whole known world.
To summarize the first four kingdoms: Gold the Babylonian Empire Through Nebuchadnezzar's vision, God revealed not only the rise of these empires, but also their demise. He also revealed the establishment of God's Kingdom that will stand forever. Daniel's interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar's dream continues:
The stone cut out without hands was Christ Jesus. He smote the image in Nebuchadnezzar's vision upon the feet. This showed the destruction of the Roman Empire. He not only broke the iron and clay empire, he also broke the brass, silver and gold empires. These kingdoms became as the chaff of the summer threshing floor and were carried away by the wind. Chaff never comes back together to form anything. These kingdoms will never rise again. Today many call the European economic community the revised Roman Empire. As we continue our search of the Scriptures, this idea will be totally dispelled. Nebuchadnezzar saw the stone cut out without hands become a great mountain (kingdom) which would fill the whole earth. Daniel continued to explain his interpretation:
It was in the days of these kings God would set up His Kingdom. God's Kingdom would not be left to other people. Only God's Kingdom people will inhabit His Kingdom. It is an eternal Kingdom that will never be thrown down. As Daniel proclaimed, God showed Nebuchadnezzar what would come to pass "hereafter". God used these first four kingdoms to bring us to the first coming of Jesus and the establishment of His Kingdom. The Roman Empire fell around 400 - 450 A.D. We will discover the next four kingdoms Jesus revealed to John that will bring us to the end of the age.
Chapter Three The End of the Age Revealed God revealed through the prophet Hosea:
God has multiplied visions and used similitudes to reveal not only Himself in His Word, but also to reveal the Word itself. God gave Nebuchadnezzar a vision to reveal His first four kingdoms. The first four kingdoms were Babylon, the Medes and Persians, Greece, and Rome. Jesus was born under Roman rule. He lived His whole life under Roman rule, and He was killed under Roman rule. But at His resurrection He established His Kingdom that would last for all eternity. There still remained a time before He would bring His Kingdom on the earth. It would be necessary for Him to first establish His Kingdom in a people before He could establish His Kingdom on the earth. This process has been continuing since Jesus left His earthly existence. The first four kingdoms were described as metal kingdoms. The last four kingdoms are described as beast kingdoms. Daniel was given a vision to reveal the last four kingdoms:
These four great beast kingdoms came up from the sea. They were different one from the other. As these kingdoms are revealed it will be easy to see why the kingdoms are different one from the other. These kingdoms came up from the sea. The sea represents "peoples". Daniel discloses his vision:
The Lion Kingdom The first beast kingdom was like a lion. The next great empire to rise to power after the Roman Empire was the British Empire. Great Britain's national symbol is the lion. The country of Britain dates back to 600 B. C. It became part of the Roman Empire in 85 A.D. and was ruled by Rome until 416 A.D. Britain did very little expansion until they began to colonize in 1583. Their first colony was New Foundland. Great Britain's foundation as an empire began in the early 1600's, when England formed the East India Company. The empire reached its pinnacle in power in the early 1900's. By then Great Britain, as she became known, controlled nearly one-fourth of the world. It was at this time the popular saying came forth, "The sun never sets on the British Empire". This was true. Somewhere on earth the sun was shining on part of the British Empire twenty-four hours a day. In 1607, Great Britain established Jamestown, a Virginia colony, in what was known as the "New World". They further colonized the New World in 1620, when the Pilgrims established the Plymouth colony. Of course, we know the history of how, from this meager beginning, these colonies became what is known as the United States of America.
The Eagle's Wings In Daniel's vision, the first beast was like a lion, having eagle's wings. Daniel beheld until the wings were plucked, or separated. This happened when the colonies in the New World won their independence from England in 1776. Thus, the United States of America was born. It cannot be denied the United States was separated from the back of England. God knew the United States' symbol would be the eagle. Daniel went on to explain after the eagle's wings were separated, they were lifted up above the earth. God raised the United States above all nations in power and wealth. No other nation has ever achieved the success this nation has achieved. As stated in Revelation seventeen, the Great Whore sitteth above all the mountains. Why has God so blessed the United States? It is because the United States was started on the knees of God-fearing men. Freedom of worship became the foundation stone on which this nation was built. Our belief in the one true God was known throughout the earth. "IN GOD WE TRUST" was imprinted on all our money. "One nation under God" was our Pledge of Allegiance. Congress and the Senate opened every session with prayer. Prayer and Bible study was established in the schools with the Bible being the main study tool. The church was the social center of the community. Praising God was a way of life. God truly blessed the United States. No nation on earth was raised higher then the United States, nor will any nation fall further when God's judgment is complete. Daniel proclaimed: ". . . and made to stand upon the feet as a man . . ." The United States was the first human form of government on the face of the earth. The United States never became an empire or kingdom. When the colonists wanted to make George Washington, king, he said the United States had only one king; God Almighty. Daniel continued, " . . . and a man's heart was given it . . ." The United States was ruled from the heart of man. The people elected their representatives, and sent them to Washington and to their state governments. The people's voice was heard in all the affairs of government; locally and nationally. Every town and city held town hall meetings so every person could be heard. Other nations have tried this republic form of government, as far back as the Grecian Empire, but failed. God's hand was on this nation. It not only succeeded, but it became the greatest nation ever recorded in the history of man. The United States became the leader of the world because God's hand was upon it. It is sad this greatness cannot be ascribed to the United States today. The more prosperous she became, the more ease she took, and sin became more and more acceptable and more open. Today we see her as the Great Whore, selling herself for the pleasures of the world. Her judgment is sure. The Lion Kingdom, Great Britain, would know its demise. The fall of the lion beast began during the Second World War. World War II was very destructive to the British Empire. The constant bombing from Germany on London, her capital city, brought the empire into disarray. Decline and collapse were sure. Great Britain controlled Palestine until after World War II. She released Palestine in 1948. Thus the birth of Modern Israel came about. India gained her independence about the same time. Slowly, nation after nation gained their independence from Great Britain, until their was no sign or mention any more of Great Britain. She is simply known as England. Jesus revealed to John there were seven kingdoms. But when the judgment of the Great Whore came five of the kingdoms were already fallen, and " . . . one is . . .", and the other is not yet come, *** Revelation 17:10. The five kingdoms that have fallen when the Great Whore's judgment comes are Babylon, the Medes and Persians, Greece, Rome, and Great Britain.
The Bear Kingdom The next kingdom we search out is the one Jesus described as ". . . the one is . . .", or the kingdom in power when the Great Whore's judgment comes. Daniel reveals this next beast:
In Daniel's vision, the second beast was like a bear. Russia's national symbol is the bear. Russia is known throughout the world as the old she bear. The only country to come to power after the Second World War was Russia. Throughout history, there were attempts to make Russia a great world power, but it was only after the Second World War Russia became a great world power. During the Second World War, Russia was allied with the United States and Great Britain. At the end of the war a meeting was held at Yalta. The United States, England, and Russia attended this meeting and most of Eastern Europe was given to Russia. This was the beginning of the bear's rise to world dominance. Daniel declared, " . . . it raised itself on one side . . ." The bear raising itself on one side is descriptive of Russia laying on her side and looking to the west and south. This is where her expansion has been. To understand this, we need to look at a world map. The world map will reveal Russia can expand no more to the north nor to the east. All Russia's expansion has been to the west and south. Daniel continued, " . . . and it had three ribs in its mouth, or between the teeth of it . . ." The bear had three ribs between its teeth, or it had a firm grip on these three ribs. These ribs are continents. Russia has a firm grip on Europe, Asia, and ancient Asia Minor. Although Asia Minor is no longer considered a continent, it was a continent when the Bible was written. Asia Minor is the oil rich Middle East. The Middle East is where Russia has an every-increasing influence. Russia itself occupies part of these three continents. No other nation on earth has this distinction. During the time of Russia's great expansion, the United States has digressed as a nation. She has gone from the most powerful nation on earth, to second place in power to Russia in 40 short years. Russia's influence in the Middle East oil countries has increased over the past few years. The United States has become the apparent aggressor, and Russia has portrayed herself as the peace maker. Daniel continued to describe the Bear Kingdom, " . . . and they said arise and devour much flesh . . ." In Russia's rise to power, they have truly devoured much flesh to establish their kingdom. During the Bolshevik Revolution millions were killed at the hands of Russian leaders. When any nation resisted her expansion or rebelled against her totalitarian rule they were unmercifully brought again under Russian control. It has been said that as many as one hundred million have been annihilated by Russian rule. Truly, as God predicted, the Bear Kingdom has devoured much flesh. Much has been made in the past few years about Russia's demise, or that Communism is dead. This has lulled the United States to sleep. We need to ask ourselves, "Has Russia disarmed?" No, she is re-arming. If Communism is dead, who is in control of all her weapons, nuclear and conventional? Who is still in charge of her vast armies? Has the leadership in Russia forsaken their atheistic belief and become Christian? If the heart of Russia's leadership has not changed are we to believe their ways and goals have changed? The Bible is never wrong. When God states " . . . the one is . . .", it is speaking of the bear kingdom who is in power when God brings His judgment upon the Great Whore. As we will discover, Russia will be part of God's judgment upon the Great Whore. God's Word reveals two great destructions will come on the United States: first the fall of Babylon, and afterwards, her final destruction. In summary the prophecy of the first six kingdoms: Babylon, the Kingdom of the Medes and Persians, Greece, Rome, Great Britain, and Russia brings us to the judgment of the Great Whore. The last two kingdoms to come to power will bring us to the end of the age when Christ will set up His Kingdom on the earth. Daniel reveals these last two kingdoms:
The Leopard Kingdom and the Man Beast Kingdom
The next beast was like a leopard. The leopard is the seventh kingdom. To gain understanding of the seventh kingdom, we must also look at the eighth beast kingdom.
The eighth beast kingdom had ten horns. Jesus revealed these ten horns to John:
The ten horns are ten kings which have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive power as kings one hour with the beast. One hour is a short period of time. The ten horn Leopard Kingdom comes to power with the eighth beast system. As Daniel declared the eighth beast was diverse from all the other beasts before it. The fifth, sixth, and seventh beasts were described as animals. The eighth beast was not described as an animal because it is the Man Beast Kingdom. Before we disclose the Leopard Kingdom we will first look at the Man Beast Kingdom. Jesus revealed the Man Beast Kingdom:
The beast that was and is not is the Man Beast Kingdom. He is of the seven, or this man beast kingdom encompasses the whole of the first seven kingdoms. This Man Beast Kingdom's power will come from satan. Many believe this man beast will be one man, but as we will discover it is an organization that will rule over the whole earth. Many who believe this is one man have erroneously called him the Anti-Christ. As the apostle John stated: "Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time." *** I John 2:18 ". . . even now there are many antichrists. . ." The government of the United States itself has become antichrist. Many decisions handed down by the Supreme Court are antichrist. Anything or any law that hinders or abolishes the worship of our Lord Jesus Christ is antichrist. The United States has passed many such laws. When the United States removed prayer from their public schools, this was an antichrist law. Abortion, the killing of their young was an antichrist law. When the United States allows homo-sexuals to hold public office, to wear the uniform of the nation, to teach in public schools, and even stand in the pulpit, these are antichrist laws. Daniel proclaims this man beast would be dreadful and terrible. This beast was exceedingly strong. This will be the most powerful governmental force that has ever been on the earth. This man beast system will rule with all power and authority. History teaches us one of the most cruel, ruthless kingdoms on the earth was the Roman Empire. But this man-beast system will be more ruthless and cruel than any ruler that has ever lived. This system will be totally controlled by satan. Their lust for power and control will never be satisfied. Daniel stated, " . . . and it had great iron teeth . . ." Iron is the symbol of power and authority. This system will have total power and authority over all the earth. Daniel reveals, " . . . it devoured and break in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it . . ." This system will put down any resistance to their power and authority with absolute destruction. They will not allow any dissension, nor will they allow any to question their power and authority. Those who try to stand in his way will be ruthlessly dealt with.
The Leopard Kingdom With Ten Horns Daniel stated this Man Beast Kingdom will have ten horns. To discover who these ten horns represent, we must look again at Revelation seventeen:
The word scarlet means "terror, destruction, and ruin." The scarlet colored beast is a beast who will bring terror, destruction, and ruin. The woman sits upon the colored beast, or she has control over this scarlet colored beast. The scarlet colored beast had seven heads and ten horns. The ten horns are the Leopard Kingdom. This is Daniel's description of the ten horns:
The Leopard Beast Kingdom is the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, or NATO. Nato is the scarlet colored beast. The scarlet colored beast has ten horns. Most teach the ten horns in Revelation seventeen and Daniel chapter seven represent the European Common Market. When Spain became the tenth nation in the European Common Market, many proclaimed the ten horns' confederacy was complete. As we will discover, the description of the ten horn nations does not fit the European Common Market. To clarify: the European Common Market is not the revised Roman Empire. The Roman Empire included North Africa, parts of Asia, and the southern tips of Russia. Only nine of the ten nations in the European Common Market were in the Roman Empire. The European Common Market is an economic confederacy for the nations of Western Europe. As we will discover, the ten horn confederacy is a military power. The Common Market has no military power: no standing army, no armament, and no military headquarters. It is only an economic community to promote a unified trade center. Daniel revealed the leopard had " . . . four wings of a fowl upon its back and four heads . . ." The Leopard beast had four wings of a fowl. The wings are four provinces. Greece is a country containing four provinces. These provinces are: Macedonia Epirus The Leopard Kingdom had four heads. When we looked at the Brass Kingdom (the Grecian Empire), we learned that after the death of Alexander, four of his generals took power and ruled independent of each other. These four heads make up the Leopard Beast Kingdom. Jesus revealed to John when the Leopard Kingdom comes to power it will continue for a short space, *** Revelation 17:10; or it will be in power a short time. Jesus continued His explanation of the ten horn confederation to John:
The Ten Horn Confederacy comes into full power with the man beast system. Jesus proclaimed these ten horns have one mind (one agenda), and they give their power and strength unto the beast. Their power and strength is their weapons (nuclear, conventional, and their standing armies). These will be under the control of the Man Beast system. All the weapons and machinery of war given to NATO by the United States will be turned and used against her. As Jesus proclaimed:
Let's identify these ten horns in Daniel's vision. Daniel proclaimed the beast (who was diverse from all the other beasts) had ten horns:
Daniel considered the horns on the beast. Another little horn came up which then made eleven horns. As we will see, the little horn is the man beast system. The little horn plucked up or defeated three of the first horns. When we add these three horns to the eleven horns, we discover the number of members in this confederacy is fourteen. It is necessary then to look for a fourteen member confederation. As stated before the ten horns and the scarlet colored beast is Nato. The woman had power and authority over the scarlet colored beast and the ten horns. From its inception, the United States has been the head of the Nato organization. Nato was started in 1949. Its twelve original members were: The United States Today, there are fifteen members in Nato. In 1951, Greece and Turkey were admitted. In 1954, West Germany was admitted, thus bringing the total membership to fifteen members. But we are looking for a fourteen member confederation. As it has been revealed, the Great Whore will be judged and cut off. When the man beast system comes to power, the United States will no longer be part of Nato. As Jesus stated, the ten horns hate the whore and will burn her with fire. The final destruction upon the United States will come from Nato. The little horn is the man beast system. It was called the little horn because the man beast system began with very limited power. But it has grown and will grow into power, unequaled by any previous kingdom on the face of the earth. Jesus revealed the man beast system:
The man beast system is the eighth and last great world kingdom to reign upon the earth. This system will rule over the whole earth. As Jesus revealed, the man beast system ". . . goeth into perdition . . .". The word perdition means "utter destruction". When God's judgment falls upon the man beast system, God will set up His Kingdom upon the earth. This is His eternal Kingdom that will rule forever. Jesus revealed this time.
When the seventh angel sounds, it will be the end of the beast rule upon the earth. Then the kingdoms of this world will become the kingdoms of our Lord and His ruling and reigning Christ. And they will become one and rule and reign with Him for ever and ever. Amen!
Chapter Four The Man Beast System and the False Prophet Revealed As we search out the mysteries God has hidden in His Word concerning the end of the age, we must know the times in which we live. God has revealed the ten horns and the Man Beast Kingdom will come to power together. The Man Beast Kingdom will rule over the whole earth. Let's identify this Man Beast Kingdom. Daniel gives us the first clue concerning this Man Beast Kingdom:
The first clue Daniel gives is that the man beast system had " . . . a mouth speaking great things . . ." *** Daniel 7:8 The mouth of this man beast system declares their power and authority which no one dare resist. The second clue Daniel gives us is ". . . his look was more stout than his fellows". The little horn was more stout than his fellows, and spoke great things. The word stout is the Hebrew word RAB and means "lord, chief, captain". The little horn (the man beast system) had more power and authority than the ten horns. Jesus spoke to John of the ten horns who are in confederacy with the little horn:
Jesus discloses the ten horns had ten crowns. The ten horns receive their crowns when they come into power with the man beast system, and will continue for a short time. Jesus continues His revelation to John:
This man beast system had the power and strength of the Leopard Kingdom, (Nato). This includes all the armament supplied by the United States to make Nato the most powerful force in Europe. It also includes Nato headquarters which is in Brussels, Belgium. Brussels Belgium is where the giant computer, sometimes called the beast, is located. Every banking transaction on earth goes through this computer and is recorded. It also has the capacity to give every person on earth an eighteen digit number. The Mark of the Beast is an eighteen digit number. Jesus continues giving us clues concerning the man beast system. ". . . the beast had the feet of the bear". The feet of the bear is the strength of Russia. Not only will the man beast system have Russia's armament, they will have control of all the armament Russia has armed the Warsaw Pact nations with. This is why Jesus declared:
Jesus continues giving us clues, ". . . the beast had the mouth of the lion." The man beast system will not only have the armament of Nato and Russia, they will also have the power of finance. The mouth of the lion (England) has the controlling voice in the European Common Market. The man beast system will have control of the European Common Market. Daniel declared concerning the lion, bear, and leopard kingdoms:
Even though the lion, bear, and leopard kingdoms did not retain their power as great kingdoms, they remained active in the beast kingdom organization. By the Word we know when the ten horns come into power the Bear Kingdom or Russia will no longer be a world power. We may ask, "How will Russia lose its position as a world power?" The prophet Ezekiel foretells Russia's demise on the mountains of Israel. This can be read in Ezekiel chapters thirty eight and thirty nine. As we look further at Daniel's interpretation of his vision for clues, we discover where the Man Beast Kingdom gains its great power. As Daniel declared:
As stated before after Alexander the Great's death, four generals ruled his kingdom. It is out of this Grecian empire the little horn, the Man Beast Kingdom, will arise. In Daniel's vision he saw the power and authority of this fourth beast:
Daniel described the beginning of this great world power as a little horn. The horn always represents power and authority. So this great world power begins with little power and authority, and as Daniel declared this Man Beast Kingdom will devour the whole earth. The word devour means "to consume". He shall tread it down and break it in pieces. To break in pieces means to crush or destroy completely. How does this little horn come to power? It comes to power as the world-wide organization known as the United Nations. The United Nations will bring in the one world order with the help of the Leopard Kingdom, the scarlet beast which is Nato. This one world order is already evident. Their agendas and their diabolical ways are already being forced upon all nations. There are many evidences of this to those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. Jesus disclosed this great world power to John. He saw this great world power rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, *** Revelation 13:1. To understand this we should know something about the United Nations. It was formed October 24th, 1945, at the closing days of World War II. It had 51 original members. The Nato nations were part of the organizing members. This fourth great power had seven heads. These heads are branches of the United Nations. These seven heads are represented by: Finance The United Nations grew, and by 1996 had grown to a membership of 185 nations. Daniel spoke this man beast system would have a great voice. Today when this man beast system speaks, his voice is heard in all 185 member nations of the United Nations. By the revelation Jesus gave to John we know where the man beast system receives its great power:
The dragon is one term used to describe satan. The United Nations power comes from satan, and they can only do his bidding. Some may ask, "Does satan have power over kingdoms?" When Jesus was tempted of satan forty days and forty nights the devil took Him up into a high mountain, and shewed unto Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
Satan (or the devil) told Jesus the glory and power of all the nations on earth were delivered unto him, and he had the power to give them to whoever he willed. Jesus did not argue with him. Jesus knew Adam had given satan dominion. This has never changed since God put man in the Garden of Eden. Jesus continued His revelation to John:
Jesus made another revelation concerning the time frame we are looking at. The great power and authority of the man beast system will only last forty-two months, or three and one half years. At the end of this time God will destroy the Man Beast Kingdom. After this time the kingdoms of this world will become the kingdom of our Lord and His Christ, *** Revelation 11:15. As we seek further clues as to who the man beast system is, we must continue with Jesus' disclosure to John:
This beast did not become a kingdom. This beast had two horns like a lamb. Again horns represent power and authority. This beast had two horns. This means he had power and authority both in the political arena and in the area of religion. He seemed to be a lamb, but his words were that of the dragon. Many believe this to be the Catholic church. But the vatican has little say in the United Nations. Then who has the most say? It is the new age movement with their environmental agenda. This agenda has been, and is being, exercised all over the face of the earth. They hold world-wide environmental conferences with the blessings of the United Nations. We need to understand the spirit behind the new age movement. The abomination here is that they appear as a lamb. As a lamb they appear to bring unity and a kingdom of peace and safety. They appear to be doing God's work in their so-called concern about the environment, but we need to beware. Their whole agenda is to get control of God's creation, and gain authority over all the people on earth. This new age spirit is aggressive. When ever it is challenged or questioned it becomes very violent. The new age spirit is not only ungodly, it speaks with the mouth of the dragon. Jesus continues:
As Jesus reveals, the new age movement exercises all the power and authority of the United Nations to foster their environmental agenda all over the earth. We must wake up and realize the environmentalists are not interested in the environment, they are only interested in controlling the land and the people. This is all part of the one worlders scheme for world dominance. Jesus disclosed one of the heads suffered a deadly wound, but his deadly wound was healed. As stated before, the beast had seven heads. The head that suffers the deadly wound is the financial head. His head will be wounded when the monetary system of the world collapses. This is when the one worlders headed by the world banking system will bring forth the mark of the beast. Every person on earth will be given an eighteen digit number. They will not be able to buy, sell, or trade without this number. This will be their total identity. This will come forth as a United Nations edict, and anyone who resists will be eliminated. As Jesus continues we get a clear picture of the new age movement:
Again we witness the new age movement acting as God to bring fire upon the earth. Fire is the symbol of cleansing. In their deceptive ways, the new agers claim to be cleaning up the earth. As Jesus proclaimed, they will claim this fire comes down from heaven, or they are doing this to accomplish God's work. The people are led to believe they are doing these things for the good of all, when in reality they are doing this to bring forth their own ideas and controls. Jesus continues to reveal, ". . . and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by means of those miracles." The new age movement will claim to do great miracles from God. This will deceive all those who have no Spiritual understanding. One of the meanings of the word translated miracle is "an unusual occurrence, transcending the common course of nature". The new agers would have us believe the miracles they perform concerning the environment transcend the common course of nature. They would have us believe it is up to them to protect endangered species, as if God had lost the control of His creation. The new agers say man cannot use the earth because they are destroying it. The Word of God proclaims God created the earth for man and gave him dominion over it. Now we are to believe God has taken the earth out of the hands of his creation and put it in the hands of a few. The Psalmist proclaims:
How foolish man has become to believe these servants of the dragon. To believe the new agers, we must then believe satan himself is protecting the environment for our good. Even those who are called by God's name who should know their Bible have been caught up in this deception. How foolish! Jesus continued His revelation of the beast:
This Scripture has been misquoted so many times. The way most quote this Scripture is ". . . that they should make an image of the beast". The Scripture says " . . . to make an image to the beast". There is a great difference between making an image of something, and making an image to something. The word image is the Greek word EIKON and means "likeness". The new agers make "self" the center of man's existence. It is only sin if you believe it is sin. In replacing God in men's lives the new age system presumes to bring mankind into the image and likeness of what they represent. One of the meanings of the word image is "one in whom the likeness of any one is seen". In other words the new age movement's determination is to bring ALL into the image of the one worlders. This is the image they would have all people to make to the man beast system.
The new age movement has given life to the idea of ALL coming into the one world order, and sadly to say, it has worked. This idea of a one world order has begun to speak. It comes from the leaders of many nations. It is the main topic of many of the talk shows. It is discussed openly, not anymore just as an idea, but as reality. Those who do not foster this satanic idea are slated for destruction. We are seeing the forerunner of the mark of the beast in ATM machines, bar codes, and smart cards. These are all to bring the earth into the one world order. How will the earth be deceived by these "do-gooders"? Matthew recorded Jesus' words:
These false christs and false prophets will exalt their so-called great signs and wonders. They will declare they are doing all these things for the good of the people. These are deceivers who's only desire is to enslave the whole earth. Only those who know their God and are led by the Spirit will not be deceived. They will resist all attempts to bring them into voluntary slavery. Believers beware! The new age agenda calls for the elimination of Christianity upon the face of the earth. Daniel declared for all who would read:
The little horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them. Many today teach and believe a false rapture which has lulled the body of Christ to sleep. Because of this false security, many Christians are no longer watchmen on the wall, and will be deceived by this look-alike lamb system. It is time to awake out of our sleep. The United Nations is a reality. The new age movement also is a reality. The one world order is very vocal, proclaiming their world dominance. As God's people we need to get hold of these facts, and know their determination to eliminate all worship to the true God because they want to be our God. In Daniel's time this same edict was put forth to the people:
It should be plain to God's people we, as Daniel, must choose the lion's den and serve our God rather then give into voluntary slavery. God alone is our hope, our protection, and our deliverance. As we hear of what the United Nations and the new age agenda is doing we realize these are servants of satan. We also need to be warned! God is blowing the trumpet loud and clear to tell us what will come upon the earth at the end of the age. The hand writing is not only on the wall, it is evident everywhere we look. We know by the words of Peter:
God's people need to repent of their slackness toward the Word of God and begin to stand on, and trust in the promises of God. The end of the age is upon us. Those who will not stand upon God's Word will fall into the deception of the one world order.
Chapter Five God's Saints Judged and Protected
Today when tribulation or judgment is mentioned, most Christians are filled with fear. Fear is present when we do not exercise our faith in God. Those who fear tribulation have forgotten the words of Paul to the church at Rome:
Paul gloried in tribulation, knowing tribulation worked patience in his life. With patience comes experience, and Paul's experiences gave him hope. The hope he had in Christ Jesus made him not ashamed of all the humiliation he had to endure. Only through tribulation can we truly experience the love of God which the Holy Spirit anointing has shed abroad in our hearts. The word shed means "to pour out". When we suffer tribulation, the Spirit of God is poured out in our life. As we study the Word, it becomes clear God used tribulation and persecution to spread His gospel over the whole earth. As Daniel saw in his vision, the stone cut out without hands became a mountain and filled the whole earth. This is the hope tribulation will bring in our life. Daniel reveals what the man beast system will attempt to do:
This man beast system will make war with the saints and prevail against them. This will be accomplished through the second beast, the new age movement. This should be no surprise to anyone who reads God's Word. Jesus informed John to write to the church at Ephesus:
Jesus spoke of the tribulation to come. He also assured us we had nothing to fear from what is coming upon the earth. Jesus had already given us this assurance through the pen of Luke:
Jesus wrote this to His friends. As John proclaimed, Jesus' friends are those who do whatsoever God commands them, *** John 15:14. We also have Jesus' promise He will tell His friends all things He has received from the Father, *** John 15:15. Jesus gave us the hope we are not to fear what man can do unto us. We need to fear God who has the final judgment. He promises if we are faithful unto death, He will give us the crown of life. This crown of life is not a physical crown. It is the crown of victory. God has promised if we are faithful unto death, He will crown us with eternal life. It is then the last enemy, death, will be overcome. Daniel declared the man beast system will make war with the saints and overcome them. Jesus made this same revelation to John on the Isle of Patmos:
The intentions of the man beast system with the aid of the new agers should be clear to all who read and understand God's Word. The power mongers of the one world order will do everything in their power to destroy God's people. Daniel saw this in his vision:
The little horn will cast down some of the stars of heaven to the ground, and will stamp upon them. The stars of heaven are God's people. Heaven is the Spiritual realm of God, and those who shine in God's firmament are His Spiritual creation. Paul disclosed these stars in his letter to the church at Phillipi:
God has a people who stand blameless before Him. These will shine as lights (stars) in this world. These are those who stand strong in the midst of any crooked and perverse nation. God has His people in the United States who do not fear what man nor government will do unto them. These do not fear tribulation, nor God's judgment because they stand blameless before God. In Daniel's interpretation of the vision he revealed that this one world order with the new age movement would magnify themselves even to the Prince of the host. The Prince of the host is the Son of the King, Jesus Christ. This unholy alliance will come against anything they deem to be Godly. Their total desire is to become our god and to be worshipped as God. Daniel declared, ". . . by him the daily sacrifice was taken away." What is our daily sacrifice before our God? Paul describes our daily sacrifice:
Our daily sacrifice is our lips giving thanks to His name. All worship of our God will be outlawed by this man beast system. The only acceptable religion will be the new age religion. In the new age religion, man is the center of all worship. Many denominations have already conformed to this godless religion, and others, too, will conform instead of facing persecution. Daniel continued, " . . . the place of His sanctuary was cast down . . ." These are places where the true worship of God have been established. This man beast system which operates by the new age spirit is determined to completely eliminate the worship of Jesus Christ. The churches who will not conform to the one world order, and embrace the new age doctrine will be closed, and torn down. When Christianity is outlawed any worship of our God will have to be done in secret. The early church experienced this and suffered at the hands of Rome. What is coming upon the church is even more devastating then what the early church suffered. Daniel continued his revelation:
Daniel saw the man beast system speaking great words against our God. We are already witnessing this taking place. Great effort is being placed on discrediting the words of our God. The Bible is being come against from every angle. Some libraries have placed the Bible on the top shelves out of reach of children. TV has shows that cause all who listen to question every part of the Bible. From the pulpit, the virgin birth is denied, the anointing is not taught, and Christianity has been reduced to being just another of man's many religions. Daniel spoke of the man beast system wearing out the saints. The phrase wear out means "to harass constantly". Even today the true believers are called moral freaks, old fuddy-duddies, Bible thumpers, and various other derogatory names. When we stand on the Word, the new age spirit becomes very agitated and reviles back harshly. This will become worse when the new agers exercise all the power of the one world order. Daniel proclaimed, ". . . they will think to change times and laws". The word times means "seasons and holidays". Any holiday which has anything to do with the worship of our God will be eliminated. They will also want to change or eliminate any law protecting the worship of our God. The biggest change has been in changing the translation of the Word of God. Many new translations have come out to change the wording of the Bible. Most of these have the backing of the new age movement. God has set a time limit on how long He will allow this to continue. As Daniel disclosed, it will be for a time, and times, and the dividing of time. The time is one year, the times is two years, and the dividing of times is six months. How long will God allow this man beast system to rule? He will rule for three and one-half years. Jesus confirmed this to John:
This is the time God's judgment will be upon the earth: forty-two months or three and one-half years. This is also shown to us another way. Jesus spoke to John of His two witnesses who shall prophesy during this three and one-half year period.
A thousand, two hundred, and sixty days is the same as the three and one-half years or forty-two months. The question most will ask is, "Why would God allow this to come upon His people?" Daniel explained as he continued his revelation:
Daniel revealed the man beast system will magnify itself even to the Prince of the host. Then he addresses the host which are God's chosen people. Many will submit to the beast system because they fear the government more than they do their God. Because of this they have transgressed against their God. They have cast down the truth of the Word of God to the ground and have trampled it under their feet. Therefore, the beast system will succeed in causing many of God's people to do what they want. This beast system will succeed for two reasons: 1 God's chosen do not have a personal relation
with their God Because God's people have no strength, when this man beast system is established, many of God's people will be overcome.
How long did Daniel declare this transgression (rebellion) of desolation would last? How long would God's sanctuaries and His people be trodden under foot? It would be twenty-three hundred days before the sanctuary would be cleansed. Not knowing the time frame spoken of we can only be assured God has a plan for His people. During this period of time God will allow tribulation to come upon His church. This time of tribulation and persecution will cleanse God's sanctuary. The word sanctuary means "holiness,, sacredness, and separateness". During this time God will bring His people unto Himself. As God's Word proclaims, "He will be our God, and we will be His people". Jesus spoke of this time of cleansing to John:
As we begin to understand the meaning of many words in the Bible, we know heaven is the Spiritual realm of God. Jesus declared this man beast system will blaspheme God's name, His church, and His people. As Jesus proclaimed, "All that dwell upon the earth shall worship or serve this man beast system". These are those who have not risen above their earthly existence. They are still earthly, sensual, and operate their lives by fleshly motives. These may be called by God's name, but they do not have their names in the book of life. Only those who dwell in the Spiritual realm will overcome this godless, one world order, and new age religious system. The apostle Paul made it very plain as to where we are to walk:
Those who walk in the Spirit refuse to fulfill the lust of their flesh. Those who fulfill the lust of the flesh are not written in the book of life, and will not overcome the man beast system when it comes into full power. Paul continued his revelation to the churches in Galatia:
If we are living in the Spirit, we need to learn to walk in the Spirit. As Jesus declared, those who live and walk in the Spirit are dwelling in heaven. Paul declared our place in God to the church at Ephesus:
Those who are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus are those who are dwelling in heaven, the Spiritual realm. These do not fulfill the lust of their fleshly existence. Our God never leaves us without hope. Even though God relates that this man beast system would make war with the saints and prevail against them, *** Daniel 7:21, He also gave hope to all those who are sold out to their God. To the Romans, Paul gave us this assurance.
Our hope in God is in our overcoming the things of this life and the lust of the flesh. Those who come into this place have God's promise of glory, honour, immortality, and eternal life. Daniel continued his vision:
The time will come when God will judge His saints and those who are found worthy will possess the kingdom. Speaking of the man beast system, Daniel declared:
God's judgment will fall upon this man beast system and totally destroy the beast system rule upon the earth. As Jesus revealed, the kingdoms of this world will become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, *** Revelation 11:15. God showed this time of ruling and reigning to Daniel in his vision:
This is our hope in God. Many believe their hope in God is in a physical place called heaven. God did not create a place called heaven for His people to dwell. He created the earth as the habitation for His people. This was His original plan, and this is His ultimate plan. Yes, there are tough times ahead, but God has already provided a way through, not a way out. As God's Word proclaims, our hope is not in escaping the things coming upon the earth. Our hope is in overcoming. It is Christ in us that is our hope of glory, *** Colossians 1:27. Many fear tribulation. The prophet Isaiah recorded God's words as revealed by the Spirit. This is a warning to all who live in fear:
Those who fear their God and answer when He calls have nothing to fear from the man beast system coming upon the earth. There are many believers in the United States who equate the fall of the United States with the end of the world. As we will discover judgment will surely fall on the United States. Before the end of the age the United States will be destroyed, and this will be before the ten horns come to power with the man beast system. We will be looking next at God's judgment and destruction of Mystery Babylon. God's people have nothing to fear if their trust is in Christ Jesus. But if they look to government for their salvation then they will be lost. As the Psalmist declared:
Chapter Six Mystery Babylon's First Destruction
When Jesus appeared unto John on the Isle of Patmos, He revealed many things that would come upon the earth before the Seventh Day. Jesus revealed seven trumpets and seven vials or bowls. The trumpets would announce His judgment or wrath, and His vials contained them. As stated before Daniel the prophet declared:
The word doctrine is the Hebrew word SHEMUA and means "prophetic message". How are we to understand the prophetic message in God's Word? We must put precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little, there a little. As we put line upon line, precept upon precept we discover when God's prophetic Word foretells the fall of Mystery Babylon. One of the seven angels who has the vials spoke to John:
The seventeenth and eighteenth chapter of Revelation foretell the judgment of the Great Whore (Mystery Babylon, the United States of America). As we begin to unlock the mystery surrounding God's judgment upon the Great Whore we discover not one, but two great destructions coming upon the United States. First is the fall of Babylon, and secondly, her final destruction, from which she will never rise again. When Jesus revealed the seven mountains, five of these seven mountains (kingdoms) were no longer great world powers when God's judgment comes upon the the Great Whore. As we have disclosed, these five kingdoms were Babylon, the Medes and Persians, the Grecian, Roman, and British empires. As Jesus stated, " . . . One is . . ." *** Revelation 17:10 As stated before the "one who is" is Russia. Russia will bring forth the fall of Babylon. The fall of Babylon has been foretold throughout the Bible. Jesus revealed to John an angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to all who dwell upon the earth, *** Revelation 14:6.
The angel announces the fall of Babylon because she made all nations drink of the wrath of her fornication. Jesus revealed the time frame of this happening to John:
Great Babylon came into remembrance before God. At this time, God is going to pour out His wrath upon Babylon, the United States. Verse 18 declares there will be voices and thunders and lightning and a great earthquake. We need to search the Scripture to discover the time when these voices, thunderings, lightnings, and a great earthquake will happen. To discover this time frame we go to Revelation eight.
The voices, thunderings, lightnings, and earthquake spoken of in Revelation sixteen will happen before the seven angels blow their trumpets to announce God's wrath upon the whole earth. The angel flying through the heavens announced the fall of Babylon, the great city who will suffer the fierceness of God's wrath. Then Jesus reveals the time frame when this will happen. Mystery Babylon's judgment comes at the beginning of God's wrath. After God judges Mystery Babylon, He will pour out His wrath upon the whole earth. Jesus continued His revelation to John, concerning the fall of Babylon:
This Scripture reveals Babylon will become the habitation of devils, or demonic spirits, and the hold (fort) for every foul spirit (spirit of lewdness, homosexuality, perverseness, etc). The fall of Babylon is unequaled in the annuls of history. No nation has ever fallen further than the United States will fall. Jesus continues His declaration concerning Babylon:
All nations on earth will suffer the wine of God's wrath upon this nation because the leaders of every nation have prostituted themselves to receive from the wealth of the United States. They have allowed themselves to be bullied and their people enslaved. The leaders of these nations have become rich in their corruptness. As Jesus declared the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her delicacies. The word delicacy means "eager desire for luxury or rich way of life". For years the United States has imported more than they exported. This is called trade imbalance. But in reality, it has created debt. The nations and merchants of the earth have been made rich by the United States willingness to continue to go into debt to maintain their rich way of life. The national debt has grown to a place where the human mind can no longer even begin to comprehend its size. This does not include the trillions of dollars their trading partner nations hold of their money because of the trade imbalance. The United States has nothing to redeem these dollars with. The stock market is inflated. The banks are over-extended with bad loans and the insurance companies are in bad financial trouble because of bad investments. The United States luxurious way of life is coming to an end. This is all part of the fall of Babylon. The fall of Babylon is before the sounding of the seven trumpets. Jesus revealed before the sounding of the trumpets the seals would be opened. As we read, it becomes clear the judgment of the United States comes at the opening of the sixth seal.
As we put line upon line, we discover the great earthquake coming at the opening of the sixth seal. At this time the sun and moon are blocked out, the stars of heaven fall to the earth, and the heavens depart as a scroll when it is rolled together.
Observing the sky, I asked the Lord, "How could the great expanse of the heavens roll together as a scroll?" He quickened to me the knowledge I had obtained over the years studying nuclear explosions. When a nuclear device is exploded, the outward thrust goes in all directions so fast it forms a perfect vacuum in the center of the blast. When the outward thrust is expended, the air then rushes back together to fill the vacuum. When the air which is filled with smoke comes back together, it rolls and moves upward forming the mushroom cloud so evident at every nuclear explosion. When a nuclear weapon is exploded in the atmosphere, the heavens will seem to roll together as a scroll. Verse 14 continues:
First we must ask, "What is the difference between a mountain and an island?" The difference is the island is a mountain with water around it. So when the mountains and islands are moved out of their places, this simply means a shifting of the waters on earth. This would indicate a shifting of the earth on its axis. This event is foretold by the prophet Isaiah:
This reeling to and fro will take place when the earth is released from its present position and comes back to an upright position. Science tells us the earth today sits at a 23 to 26 degree angle. This is how far magnetic north is from true north. Many believe this happened at the time of the flood when God shifted the earth, slinging the waters of the flood to the poles and freezing them instantly. Giant mammoths and sabre tooth tigers have been found frozen in the ice with fresh grass still in their mouths and in their stomachs. These animals were frozen instantly. The waters of Noah's flood are still frozen at the north and south poles. We need to ask what would happen when nuclear weapons are exploded in the atmosphere? A world renowned physicist proclaimed the events to follow such an explosion: first he declared it would cause windstorms on the earth of eight hundred to three thousand miles an hour. The prophet Jeremiah foretold such an event taking place:
The word whirlwind means "tempest or storm". A tempest or storm will raise up from the coast of the earth. The word coast means "extreme parts". The extreme parts of the earth is the atmosphere. When the Bear Kingdom explodes their nuclear weapons in the atmosphere, the effects of these explosions will not be confined to the United States. These giant windstorms will go around the earth causing great tidal waves, massive hurricanes, devastating tornadoes, and damaging typhoons. Millions will be killed. This will be the beginning of God's wrath upon the whole earth, and the population of the earth will be reduced drastically. The slain of the Lord will be from one end of the earth to the other. Every nation will suffer. As Jeremiah prophesied, the dead will be left as dung upon the ground. Because of the mammoth extent of this devastation their bodies will not be gathered nor buried. The Lord declares evil will go forth from nation to nation. This evil is nuclear fallout. Nuclear fallout lasts for years, causing malignant tumors and cancers in those who are exposed to the fallout. As the prophet Isaiah declared, ". . . the earth shall fall and not rise again." *** Isaiah 24:20. The earth as we know it will no longer be the same because of the chaos these explosions will cause. The peoples of the earth will not know what to do. This is when the man beast system will take total control, exercising their military might. As stated before, this system will rule for three and one-half years. During this time, God's final judgment will come upon the whole earth, and the kingdoms of this world will become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ. *** Revelation 11:15 One world renowned physicist also proclaimed all the moisture in the atmosphere will be driven into the ionisphere and frozen instantly, freezing a layer of ice one hundred miles thick. The weight of this ice would then break up and fall to earth as one hundred pound hail stones. This same event was told to John after Jesus had revealed the great city would be divided into three parts:
It is at this time every island fled away and the mountains were not found. As stated before this happened at the opening of the sixth seal. At this same time great hail fell from heaven, every hail stone the weight of a talent, or one hundred pounds. Instead of man turning to God, they blasphemed God because the plague was so great. The third event to take place upon the earth at the time of the nuclear explosions in the atmosphere would be the increase of heat on the earth. For years the icecaps at the poles have been melting. This increased heat would simply speed up the process. This melting of the icecaps at an increased rate would loosen the earth, allowing it to return again to its upright position. When the earth returns to its upright position, not only will the earth reel to and fro, every earthquake fault on earth will let go causing great destruction. Jesus spoke of this time when the sixth seal is opened:
One famous physicist proclaimed one other event, "Nuclear Winter". This also takes place at the opening of the sixth seal. Jesus foretold the sun becoming black as sackcloth. When the great windstorms are upon the earth, it will cause so much dust it will block out the sun. This will cause extreme cold upon the earth. There will be no crops and no way to keep warm. The prophet Isaiah foretold this time:
The people will not be able to deliver themselves from the power of the flame (nuclear explosion). And when it is over they will not have a coal to warm at, nor a fire to sit before. These events come at the beginning of God's wrath upon the earth. Jeremiah declared, ". . . a noise shall come to the ends of the earth." The noise caused by these nuclear explosions will be tremendous. Since this occurs in the atmosphere, the noise will continue to be heard around the earth for a long period of time until it dissipates. As stated before the judgment of the Great Whore will come while the Bear Kingdom is in power. To understand how Russia could bring about the fall of Babylon we need to know a little history. When Ronald Reagan was President of the United States, he purposed what was then called "Star Wars". The United States would have a shield of missiles to shoot down any incoming ICBM missile from Russia. Russia countered this move by arming outer space. The headlines in the paper in July of 1985 was "Russia Arms Outer Space". Russia put up nuclear weapons and maneuvered them close to the United States' satellites. When these are detonated, all communication and services dependent on the satellite program will be eliminated. Communication, transportation, electric, and banking will all disappear. All these services are dependent on our satellites circling the earth. Thus the fall of Babylon will be set on its course. The fall of Babylon is spoken of many places in the Bible. The prophet Ezekiel foretold the fall of Russia on the mountains of Israel. In the Bible, Gog and Magog speaks of Russia. God spoke:
We need to ask, "Who are those who dwell carelessly in the isles?" By putting line upon line, we discover the answer to this question. The prophet Isaiah prophesied:
Those who dwell carelessly also declare, "I shall not sit as a widow, nor see the loss of children". Jesus revealed to John who Ezekiel and Isaiah were alluding to. Speaking of Babylon, Jesus foretells:
Again Jesus is speaking of Mystery Babylon, the United States of America. Isaiah continued his revelation to those who dwell carelessly in the isles:
Isaiah revealed this judgment is coming upon Babylon because of the multitude of her sorceries. As we discovered in Revelation eighteen, " . . . by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. . ." *** Revelation 18:23. The word sorceries is the Greek word PHARMAKEIA and means "drugs". In Isaiah the word sorceries has the meaning of "witchcraft". Certainly drugs and witchcraft go hand and hand. The use of drugs has become rampant in the United States since the 1960's. Witchcraft has increased one thousand fold. Isaiah continued his revelation of the Great Whore:
Today the United States trusts more in earthly wisdom and man acquired knowledge then they do the mighty work of God. Our God reveals their earthly wisdom and man acquired knowledge has perverted them. They have truly trusted in their wickedness to where they have totally rejected any knowledge or wisdom of God.
Evil shall come upon them and they will not realize what it is or where it comes from. When Russia detonates their nuclear weapons in the atmosphere, the people will not be able to put off the destruction that comes upon them. God warns:
The United States is wearied by the multitude of their counsels. There are no Godly advisors left in Washington, D. C. The government is run by "think tanks" and soothsayers. When the fall of Babylon comes, God tells the people to look to their astrologers, stargazers, and monthly prognosticators for their help because they have totally rejected Him, His knowledge, and His Word. God will allow them to see what their witchcraft can do for them when destruction comes. As we study we come to the understanding Jeremiah prophesied while ancient Babylon was still in existence. Jeremiah's prophecies were dual prophecies. They prophesied the fall of ancient Babylon, and also the fall of Mystery Babylon. We know by the prophet Daniel it was Darius the Mede who destroyed ancient Babylon. Jeremiah prophesied concerning Mystery Babylon:
God spoke to make the arrows bright. The bright arrows are the nuclear missiles. The Lord has raised up the spirit of the king of the Medes to bring the fall of Mystery Babylon. Russia was part of the Medo-Persian empire. The spirit of the king of the Medes rests upon Russia. It was the law of the Medes, once a decision was made it could never be changed. Russia has spoken many times of her desire to destroy the United States. This decision has never changed. It is still her desire and intention to see the United States made desolate. As Jeremiah recorded:
At the noise of the taking of Babylon the earth is moved. We need to ask when ancient Babylon was taken by the Medes was the earth moved? No, the Medes came under the flood gates and captured the palace with little or no resistance, and the earth certainly did not move. There was no noise heard from the ends of the earth at the taking of ancient Babylon. Jeremiah was not speaking of the taking of ancient Babylon, but rather the fall of Mystery Babylon. Jeremiah also declared a noise would come from the end of the earth. The fall of Mystery Babylon will come when the Bear Kingdom explodes their nuclear weapons in the atmosphere and the earth is released from its present place and comes to its upright position. None of these events happened at the taking of ancient Babylon. Jeremiah also recorded the cry is heard among the nations. The prophet Isaiah foretold the heralding of the fall of Babylon among the nations:
The fall of Babylon will be felt all over the earth. Yes, Babylon will fall, but it will rise again for a short time before its final destruction. But it will never again be a world power. Although it will reestablish order and some resemblance of government, it will be completely destroyed at a later date. The world will wonder how this could happen to such a great and powerful nation like the United States. Even the apostle John was amazed when he witnessed her beauty and majesty. What God's people need to learn is Babylon, the Great Whore, is not our security. Our only security is being in the hand of the Father. The days of the United States are numbered. Those whose hope and dependence is in the United States government will fall with her. We need to heed Jesus' words and come out of her so we will not partake of her plagues.
Chapter Seven Mystery Babylon's Final Judgment
As we recognize who the United States is in the Bible we will also recognize her judgments. The first judgment falls on the United States at the time Russia, the Bear Kingdom, is in power. This constitutes the fall of Babylon. Jesus described her second judgment to John:
The ten horn confederacy which comes to power with the man beast government will hate the whore and shall make her desolate. The word desolate means "to lay waste, to bring to desolation, and to strip of treasure". The Scripture above reveals 3 things the beast will do to the Great Whore: 1. The ten horns will make mystery Babylon naked. The word naked means "to lay bare". 2. The ten horns will eat her flesh. The word flesh means "flesh of man and beast". 3. The ten horns will also burn her with fire. Jesus reveals the total devastation, desolation, and destruction He will bring upon Mystery Babylon, the United States of America. We should ask, "Why is this destruction coming upon the United States?" Jesus gives the answer:
The ten horn confederacy brings devastation upon the Great Whore because God has put it in their hearts to fulfill His will until His words are fulfilled. Jesus warned His people:
God has warned His people to come out of Babylon. The phrase come out means "to escape from in safety, and to forsake". This does not necessarily mean to leave this nation, although there will come a time God's people will have to flee, or be killed. What Jesus is speaking of is not to become involved in the governmental system. This includes her lustful, greedy way of life. God's people are also to flee from her extortioners who charge their ungodly usury and keep His people in financial bondage. As He states, "Do not be partakers of her sins". If we agree with, and participate in her sins, then we will partake of her plagues. As Jesus proclaimed:
The sins of the United States have become a stink in the nostrils of God. "And God remembered her iniquities." The word iniquities means "evil doings". Since the United States has turned her back on God, she has become one of the most morally debase nations on earth. As Jesus revealed, her sin is written on her forehead. This means she is no longer ashamed of her sin. In fact she flouts her sin all over the earth. Jesus warned about receiving of her plagues. Then He explains the plagues He will bring upon the Great Whore:
God's plagues come in one day: death, mourning, and famine. The United States will be utterly burned with fire. The word utterly means "to consume completely". The book of Jeremiah goes into greater detail concerning the destruction of Babylon:
Jesus revealed to John, "The great whore is the one who sitteth on many waters," *** Revelation 17:1. Jeremiah states, ". . . abundant in treasures . . .". The United States of America had been the richest nation on earth. Jeremiah stated, "THY END HAS COME". Another revelation of Jeremiah concerning the Great whore is:
The word sword is the Hebrew word KATESTHIO and means "to devour, to forcibly appropriate, to ruin, and to utterly consume". The devouring sword is upon her horses and chariots. Horses and chariots speak of military equipment. One of the ways God brings His judgment is by disarming the nation. God has put into the heart of the leaders of the United States to disarm while her enemies are building up armament. This devouring sword is also upon all the mingled people. The word mingled means "mixed people", mixed from every nation on earth. As Jesus revealed, "The waters where the whore sat were peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues," *** Revelation 17:15. Many ask, "How could the richest nation on earth have become the biggest debtor nation in less than twenty years?" Jeremiah gives the answer. God's devouring sword is upon her treasures, and they are robbed to where the debt of the United States is hopeless. Jesus also declared this to John:
God's judgment on the United States should be no surprise to anyone who reads their Bible. God gave all nations warning in the book of Deuteronomy:
God truly set the United States above all nations. He truly has blessed the work of their hands. He gave them His rain in His season, and they were able to lend money to many nations. God made them the head, and not the tail because they followed His commandments. But God gave a second warning:
At the time the United States no longer heeded God's commandments nor heard His voice, He truly made them the tail. The United States now borrows from any source who is willing to lend to her. The strangers within are the foreigners who have immigrated to the United States to cause her destruction. They will accomplish their purpose by sabotage, infiltration, and acts of terrorism. Jeremiah continued his revelation of Mystery Babylon:
A drought is upon her waters. Her waters are her people. Those who dwell in Babylon are dried up physically and Spiritually. There is no joy or refreshment in them. They have dried up Spiritually because they are given to the pleasures of this life and have forsaken the water of God's Word. The United States has truly become a nation of graven images. The people have become mad upon their idols. Jeremiah made further revelation as to who the United States is:
Babylon is called the hammer of the whole earth. The hammer stands for construction. The United States builds all over the face of the earth. The largest construction firms on earth are resident in the United States. Jeremiah gives us another clue as to the identity of Mystery Babylon:
The sower and the one who handles the sickles are farmers. Today the farmers in the United States are going broke by the thousands. They are no longer masters of the land. Debt has made them slaves to the government through the government controlled lending institutions. The small farms are being absorbed into giant corporate farms, backed and financed by the government. This is to control the production of all farm produce. When the government controls the food they will have total control of the people. God's judgment hand has come upon the farmers of the United States. Jesus proclaimed to John:
The farmers today are destroying the earth with their bad agricultural practices. Their high salt fertilizers and chemical poisons have truly destroyed the productive power of the earth. God cannot bless when one destroys His creation. Jeremiah discloses another judgment to come upon the United States:
God has destroyed the great voice of Babylon. The United States is no longer the great voice in the earth. In years past when the United States spoke, other nations listened. When she spoke of finance and her military prowess, they heeded her words. Today when her leaders speak, they are mocked, hated, and shunned. Jeremiah also proclaimed:
Since the United states no longer walks in God's statutes or His commandments she can no longer claim this promise. We no longer get rain in due season. Farmers have trouble getting their crops planted because of untimely rain during the planting season. During the growing season untimely rain causes many crops to fail. Wet falls and early winters make it difficult to get the crops harvested. The trees of the field will not yield their fruit unless they are sprayed with poisons to kill the insect infestation caused by the use of chemical fertilizers. God has promised through the pen of Jeremiah:
The word fanners means "foreigner, stranger, and profane people". In the last forty years (a generation) there have been many refugees from Korea, Cambodia, Laos, VietNam, Cuba, Columbia, and Nicaragua entering the United States. Most of the people have melted into our society and way of life, but the discontent from all these countries have joined together in gangs. These have armed themselves and have become a mighty force in the cities. They are called by various names and are responsible for much of the crime in our cities. Most are involved in drug related operations. These all have mafia connections and are doing the will of their overlords. Jeremiah stated they will fan her. The word fan is the Hebrew word ZARA and means "to scatter or spread or bring division". Many today speak against the United States. The VietNam War and its dissidents have truly brought division which has never been healed. There is no longer a will to defend this nation in the time of war. If war would come the young men in the United States would flee instead of fight. Jeremiah also saw this aspect of Mystery Babylon's judgment:
When a nation's youth no longer believe in the nation and refuse to defend it, then that nation is doomed to failure. The United States can no longer depend on its youth to fight its political wars. As Jeremiah stated, " . . . in the day of trouble the fanners will be against her round about." When the day of trouble comes, not only will the United States have to defend herself from without, but also from within. Many proclaim the United States will re-arm and become a mighty nation again. Jeremiah declared:
As stated before President Reagan wanted to develop Star Wars to protect the nation from a missile attack. The Lord declares if Babylon should mount up to heaven to put up a shield that works (the experts say it will not work), this would not stop God's judgment upon the United States. The spoilers will come upon this land to destroy her because her judgment is from the Lord. As Jeremiah declared:
Their arrows are the nuclear missiles the United States has armed Nato with. These arrows will also include the nuclear missiles Russia has armed the Warsaw Pact nations with. The Lord has put into the heart of the ten nation confederacy to hate the whore and make her desolate, naked, and burnt with fire. Jeremiah continued with his prophesy against Babylon:
The destruction of Babylon will be complete. Our enemies will spare no arrows because Mystery Babylon has sinned against the Lord. Jeremiah concludes God's utter destruction upon Babylon by declaring:
God has become the enemy of the United States. His judgment will be swift and final. He will make the United States a burnt mountain, and no one will use her anymore as a cornerstone for a foundation to build upon. As Jeremiah declared, "Thou shalt be desolate forever", because as Jeremiah declared, ". . . she destroyeth all the earth." How is Mystery Babylon responsible for destroying the whole earth? We need to realize it was the United States who created the nuclear hell the whole earth lives in fear of. We also need to realize, that of all the nations on earth, the United States is the only nation who has released this nuclear hell upon mankind. And she did it twice: once on Hiroshima, and again on Nagasaki, Japan. If there were no other reasons for God's judgment upon the Great Whore, this would be reason enough for her destruction. Jesus declared this destruction to John on the Isle of Patmos:
The kings of the earth will bewail her because they have become rich through the graft and corruption of the United States give away programs. The merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn because they will have lost the world's greatest market place. When they see the smoke of her burning, the kings of the earth will stand afar off. No one will come to her aid. They can only lament because of the loss of their income. Jesus continues:
Babylon will be thrown down with violence and will be found no more because she is utterly burned. Six times Jeremiah declared Babylon's utter destruction:
Babylon will be desolate without an inhabitant. Not one person will live here again. This is because the Lord has put it in their heart to bring desolation upon Mystery Babylon. Jeremiah continues:
The phrase dry land means "a desert or uninhabitable place, an utter desolation". Her cities will be empty and wasted. Jeremiah shows us more:
Babylon will become heaps. This means rubble, a dwelling place for dragons. The land will be without an inhabitant. No one, not one person will be left in the whole nation. After the second nuclear attack it will never be inhabited again. It will be left for a sign to all, of God's fierce judgment upon sin. Jeremiah continues his revelation:
All Babylon's mighty men are taken. The great men who worshiped the God of creation who founded this nation are gone, and with them their ideas and visions of a great free land. Today Babylon's rulers rule to satisfy self and self-desire. There are no statesmen, only politicians. There is no justice, no godliness, and no trust in the government. When this condition exists it can only lead to anarchy. God declares He will make her princes, her wise men, her captains, and her mighty men drunk. In every area of government alcoholism runs rampant. For this reason there is no hope in the people. They exist from day to day with no hope, no vision, and no direction. God proclaims " . . .they shall sleep a perpetual sleep and not wake. . .". God's judgment will be absolute. ". . . the broad wall of Babylon shall be utterly broken down. . .". Her defense system will be non-existent. This nation's disarmament program will totally do away with any defense, and the great Whore will be defenseless. As God proclaims, ". . .the people who labor will labor in vain. . .". No matter how much the people have prepared for this time, all their labor will be in vain because their judgment is coming from God. He also declares, ". . . those in the fire will be weary. . .". They will not succeed. Many are praying for this nation to repent and be healed. Jeremiah also addressed this possibility:
As God stated, He would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed. God's Word to His people is to forsake her. "Let us go everyone into his own country". God has told His people to flee this nation. As Jesus declared to John:
Come Out Of Her My People When the judgment of God has been fulfilled upon the United States, nothing will remain. God has warned His people to flee the wrath to come. When the time of fleeing comes, it will not be man who will be leading God's people to their place of safety, but the voice of God will go before His people. Those who know His voice and are obedient to His voice will be in a place of safety that God has prepared for them. Jesus spoke through the pen of Luke:
We do not need to be partakers of the coming wrath. Jesus tells us to watch and pray that we may be accounted worthy to escape the things coming upon the earth. Today many have their hope in a phony rapture. God is not going to take His people out, but He will take the overcomers through victoriously. God has a plan of protection for His people, but they must know His voice, and obey His command to flee. As Jeremiah warned:
There is a time of fleeing for God's people, just as in the days of Lot, but we must be ready to flee. God has foretold this fleeing, but He knows many will not flee because of the things of this life that have a hold on them. We need to free ourselves of everything if we are to escape the wrath of God and stand in His presence.
Chapter Eight God's Calling Out
As we recognize the two judgments God will bring upon the Great Whore, it becomes very apparent when God's judgment is complete the land we know as the United States of America will be a desolate waste. The question arises, "What will happen to God's faithful?" Most who call themselves by His name (Christian) in the United States believe in some form of the rapture, either pre, mid, or a post tribulation rapture. The majority of those who have their hope in a rapture also have their hope in dying and going to heaven. These two teachings have permeated the church. The church as a whole has no hope in the overcoming power of God. Paul declared our hope in his letter to the Colossians:
Our only hope of glory is submitting to the overcoming Christ in us. God has made many promises to His overcoming saints. Jesus proclaimed to John our promise if we strive to overcome:
It is God's overcomers who are going to inherit all things. It is the overcomers who are going to rule and reign with Him in the one thousand year millennium. It is the overcomers who will be protected through the wrath of God upon the earth. God has a plan for His people. It is not a rapture, nor is it heaven. The idea of God taking His people out of this world before any persecution comes is completely foreign to the Word of God. Paul wrote to Timothy:
The word persecution is the Greek word DIOKO and means "to put to flight, drive away, to pursue". Jesus prayed. . .
It was Jesus' prayer that God would not take us out of the world, but that we would be kept from the evil. He will keep those who are in Him from the evil that is coming upon the world. As stated before the judgment of Mystery Babylon comes before God pours out His wrath upon the rest of the world. We may ask the question, "But what about God's overcoming people, must they endure the wrath?" The Bible foretells a place of protection God has prepared for His overcoming people. Jesus disclosed this place to John:
Jesus spoke of a woman. The woman Jesus spoke of is the church. This woman was clothed with the sun, or clothed in God's righteousness. The moon was under her feet. The moon represents judgment. She had a crown of twelve stars upon her head. The crown represents authority. Twelve represents government. This woman is the true church clothed in God's righteousness. She has judgment under her feet and she will receive the crown of authority in God's Kingdom age. This is truly God's overcoming church. " . . . she was with child, and pained to be delivered . . ."
The true church will bring forth the man child company who will rule all nations with the rod of authority and with iron (strength). This man child company was caught up to God and His throne. What became of the woman?
The woman fled into the wilderness into a place God had prepared for her for the three and one-half years of the wrath. God has always protected His people through whatever He has brought upon the earth. Luke recorded Jesus' promise to all who would serve Him:
Much has been discussed about the people in the days of Noah. Eating, drinking, marrying wives, and being given in marriage are all normal activities of life. What is Jesus showing us here? He is showing us at the time of His judgment all things will seem normal to the majority of the people. Only Noah knew the ark was the only safe place to be when God's judgment fell. In the days of Noah, God's judgment came upon the whole earth. God's judgment again will fall upon the whole earth, and the only safe place to be is in Christ. Those who are in Christ will be shown God's place of protection in the wilderness. Jesus continued:
This time God's judgment did not come upon the whole earth. It only came on the sinful cities of the plains. Again everything was normal. They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they builded. But God brought deliverance to Lot before His judgment. God is going to bring judgment upon the whole earth again as He did in Noah's day. But before this final judgment, God is going to bring judgment upon the sinful cities of Mystery Babylon, the Great Whore, The United States of America. Speaking of Babylon, Jeremiah proclaimed:
Jeremiah calls Babylon the Destroyer of Mine Heritage. The United States was God's heritage because it was the model for religious freedom. America was proud of its Christian standard. "In God We Trust" is engraved on all her currency. Her pledge of allegiance is, "One nation under God". Every session of congress or the House of Representatives is opened in prayer. But, alas, the United States has grown fat as an heifer on grass. Growing fat means affluent and pompous. Now the United States bellow as bulls, or bullies. Instead of being a peace loving nation, the United States now fosters hatred because of its threats toward other nations. When these nations do not do what the United States desires they are threatened with military force. Jeremiah foretells Babylon's destiny:
The mother of the United States is the church. The church was the center of every community activity. The church existed before the government was established. Now the church is confounded. They do not know what has happened to their heritage or their land. The church has become ashamed of what the government has come to stand for. The United States is the hindermost (youngest) of the nations. God's judgment will make it a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert. So what does God declare His people should do? Jeremiah has made it very clear. Other prophets have also given us direction. As Jeremiah declared:
God would have forgiven Babylon, but the United States never sought forgiveness, nor will she. God's direction to His people is to forsake her. Let everyone go to his own country. At the time of God's judgment we are to flee (or get out of the United States). Jeremiah declared her judgment has reached unto heaven. This is the same revelation Jesus gave to John:
Jesus' direction for His people at this time is, Come Out Of Her
Jesus confirmed every word spoken by Jeremiah the prophet. Jeremiah continued his admonition to God's people in Babylon:
Again the warning to God's people is to flee Babylon. When God says something once, He establishes it. When He says it twice, He confirms it. When He says it three times, it becomes an absolute. Jeremiah declared the time of fleeing three times:
God has warned His people of His coming judgment upon the Great Whore. He has also instructed them to flee. Jeremiah stated, "Be not cut off in her iniquity". Jesus warned "Receive not of her plagues". Her plagues are death, mourning, famine, and to be utterly burned, *** Revelation 18:6. Jesus spoke of this time of fleeing. It is the day the son of man is revealed. Luke recorded Jesus' words concerning this time of fleeing:
Jesus informs us when the time of fleeing comes, if we are in the house or out in the field, we are to leave from where we are immediately, taking nothing with us. Speaking of this time of fleeing, Jesus reminds us to remember Lot's wife, *** Luke 17:32. Why should we remember Lot's wife? Because Lot's wife is an example of disobedience. She looked back, desiring those things she had left behind, and it cost her her life. We are not to look back, nor are we to desire those things we must leave. Jesus' next words should convince any gainsayer:
Jesus warned those who try to save their old way of life will lose their physical life. Those who lose or give up their old way of life will preserve their Spiritual life. Jesus warned if we try to preserve our physical life we will lose our eternal life. Jesus continued giving us warning concerning the time of fleeing:
In that night, the time of judgment, there shall be two in one bed. The word men was italicized and was added (we omitted it in the above Scripture). Two in bed speaks of marriage. One shall be taken, the other left. We must first understand the word taken. It is the Greek word PARALAMBANO and means "to receive or to take to oneself". Those who are taken will be directed to God's protected place in the wilderness. The word left is the Greek word APHIEMI and means "to leave, to let, suffer". Those who are not accounted worthy to escape those things coming upon the earth will be left to suffer God's wrath. When the husband and the wife have not become one in Christ they are unequally yoked. Only the one who has become obedient to God's Word and His voice will be taken. The other will be left. Luke continues:
The word women was in italics (again, we omitted it from the above Scripture). Two grinding together represent industry, or those who are on the job. God has given His assurance, no matter where we are when we hear God's voice we must flee.
Two in the field represents two in the world. No matter where you are in the world, when you hear God's voice you are to flee. Those who hear the Father's voice and are obedient to His voice are those who have come into a close, intimate relationship with Him. These will be instructed by the Father's voice. There will be many who will be disobedient to His voice because they are not willing to give up their earthly belongings and lifestyle. Luke recorded Jesus' words concerning those who would not be obedient to God's voice:
Many have related this to the message of salvation. This event was at supper time. Supper time is at the end of the day, or the end of the age. What were the excuses? The first had brought a piece of ground. He was tied to the earth. Another had bought five yoke of oxen. He was tied to his work. The third had married a wife. This one had not become the head of his household. He could only do as his wife said. These will all be left because they tried to save their old life, and because of this they lost their Spiritual inheritance. Jesus gave John this revelation concerning the time of fleeing.
The woman was given two wings of a great eagle that she might fly into the wilderness. This time of fleeing will be the same as when Israel had to flee from Egypt. Moses recorded:
These were not physical eagles' wings. The eagle is the highest flying bird. God has shown and given us His assurance He is able to lift us up above all trouble and deliver us unto Himself and His place of safety. As Jesus stated we will be nourished there for a time, times, and half a time, or three and one-half years. This will be the three and one-half years of God's judgment upon the world. The prophet Isaiah also declared this time of fleeing:
Those whom God will call to flee are walking in His way of holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it. Those who have not obtained their robes of righteousness will not be called into the wilderness. Isaiah foretold this place is only for the wayfaring men. The word wayfaring means "traveling man". The traveling men are those who have found the way of holiness and have fled at the time of God's wrath. All who will be spared must flee. Those who will not leave will perish. Isaiah declared, ". . .fools shall not err therein. . ." We need to ask, "Who are the fools?" David, the Psalmist, reveals:
The phrase there is is in italics. They were added. The way David wrote this it would read, "The fool hath said in his heart, `NO God'!". The fool refuses to be obedient to God's voice. When Isaiah wrote, "No fool shall err therein", the fools who say No to God will not be in His protected place during the wrath. Those who refuse God's call will not be part of the fleeing. Isaiah continues:
Only the redeemed who walk in God's holy way will be in His protected place. Jesus continued His revelation to John:
Again the serpent is the United Nations, the one world order. As Jesus stated the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood. It is not clear what this flood will be, but we know the serpent will try to stop the woman from fleeing, just as Pharaoh tried to stop Israel from fleeing Egypt. In Pharoah's time, the enemy's flood was the whole Egyptian army with their horses and chariots. Jesus declared, "The earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth". As the Red Sea opened her mouth and swallowed up Pharaoh's army, so will the earth again open her mouth and swallow up the army of the serpent. The prophet Isaiah spoke of God's judgment upon the earth and what His people are to do:
The word chambers is the Hebrew word HEDER and means "the innermost part of God's protection". The word indignation is the Hebrew word ZAAM and means "fierce anger or wrath". Isaiah declared we are to hide ourselves in God's protected place until His wrath is past. God has a people who will not be touched by His wrath. Noah is our example. Noah was protected through God's judgment. The wrath of God was all around Noah in the form of the flood, but Noah was in God's protected place, and God's wrath could not touch him. Those who are obedient to God's voice will flee into God's protection during His coming wrath. The prophet Zephaniah also proclaimed this same protected place:
Those who will escape are those who seek God's righteousness and His meekness. Today is the Day of Preparation. God is preparing His people Spiritually, mentally, and physically for the time that lies directly ahead of us. He is preparing His people for this time of separation and fleeing. At this time places of refuge are being prepared all over the earth for God's people to flee into. God has forewarned His people to prepare for God's judgment by getting their lives lined up with His Word. Those who try to maintain their old, physical life will lose their Spiritual life and will not come into God's protection during His coming wrath. Look up for our redemption is truly drawing nigh! God's judgment is sure upon the Great Whore. She will not repent and be healed. She will continue her downward path. The Bear Kingdom will bring about her fall, and the leopard and the Man Beast Kingdom will bring her final destruction. David, the Psalmist, gave us the assurance of God's judgment upon the nations who have turned from God:
All nations that forget God shall be turned into hell. How could the United States have fallen so far so fast? One simple answer, she forgot her God. An unknown Psalmist wrote:
The United States was truly a blessed nation when they recognized God as their Lord. The word Lord is Jehovah. The word Jehovah means "the existing one". He is the "Great I Am". The Psalmist declares, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." The United States was the most blessed nation on earth. Because God has blessed her above every nation, her judgment will also be the most severe. The leaders of this nation are in a conspiracy to allow the United Nations and the Federal Reserve Board to dictate policy. The United Nations controls our military strength and the Federal Reserve Board has become our financial overlords. God has been legislated out of our schools, our court systems, and our government. God's judgment is sure. God will allow the United States to strangle by the noose our leaders have tied around her neck. When her judgment comes it will be swift. God has rejected this nation because they have forgotten Him. But He has not rejected His inheritance in this nation. Those who are called by His name and have not become part of the sins of this nation are God's inheritance. They are part of His pearl of great price. Our only hope is obeying His Word, hearing His voice, and heeding His anointing. With these three we can be assured of His protection in the time when God's wrath is poured out upon all ungodliness, all corruption, and all wickedness. God has a protected place for His people. Those who know their God and heed His voice will be called into this place. Standing armies, financial collapse, or nuclear warheads cannot touch us in this place. Our hope is not in God changing this nation or changing its people. Our hope is in God changing us. Our only hope is Christ in us. He is our only hope of glory, protection, and overcoming what God is bringing upon the earth. We need to look up for our redemption truly draweth nigh. Our redemption, our hope, and our glory is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Praise God! |
