Pilgrimage & Ka'ba
We, as Muslims, pray toward the Ka'ba (Black Box in Mecca), but we do not worship the Ka'ba. We respect the Ka'ba as a location which was the first place on Earth built for worshipping God. It was initially established by Adam, and later on, it was re-built by Abraham. What is important for us is not the black box, but the location as a historical place of worship. The Ka'ba marks the center of a holy location.
