Videos of Converts/ Reverts to Islam
AbdAllah ibn Mas'ud said: "The Prophet (s.a.a.w.s.) said, 'Islam began as something strange, and it will revert to being strange as it was in the beginning, so good tidings (news) for the strangers.' Someone asked, 'Who are the strangers?' He said, 'The ones who break away from their people (literally, 'tribes') for the sake of Islam'." This Hadith was narrated by Ibn Majah on the authority of Anas bin Malik and Abu Hurairah.
In this section of our site, we would like to present to you videos of some of the people who have converted (reverted) to Islam. We have included some videos of depicting Muslims, in general (converts & non-converts) in non-Muslim countries. We, as Muslims, believe that the word "reverted" to Islam is more appropriate than the word "converted" to Islam because we believe that all babies are born as Muslims. Unfortunately, their parents may raise them to follow the religion of the parents. Therefore, Islam is the innate religion of human beings. That is why, unlike Christianity, in Islam, people do not have to go through any ritual, such as Christian baptism, to become Muslims.
